Interactive Tablewear
Interactive Tablewear was a study perfomed within Philips Design Probes, in collaboration with master chef and restaurantowner Arzak, where new innovating ways to present food were explored and developed into a set of interactive porcelain plates. Three different prototypes enhance the eating experience of users with different types of input and output, focusing on how perception can influence the sense of taste.

Aulura
Aulura is an ambient picture frame dedicated to motivate and coach users of the DirectLife service. The Aulura frame implements persuasive technologies in the home environment and actively involves users with their progress in activity level to stimulate a healthy lifestyle. Aulura wirelessly receives data from an activity monitor that users carry, and provides feedback and persuasive cues on the achievements of a user. It lures and engages users by showing different levels of information triggered by the proximity and number of users.

Ennea
Ennea is an educational platform concept that stimulates social development through reflection upon real-life pupil based information. Simultaneously it provides tutors with an online service to monitor, guide and support high school freshmen through their first semester.

Marbowl
This research project focused on the physical game of shooting marbles and discusses the game aspects that make this ancient game so popular. And whether these game aspects of the game can be improved to make a difference in experienced fun. The Marbowl enhances the game of shooting marbles by elaborating on the elements of movement, time and placement, stimulating open-ended play and the amount of control over the game.

Flash Poles
Regarding the growing number of obesity among children, a new type of playground was designed in collaboration with TNO to stimulate physical play. The Flash Poles is an interactive installation that enables children to create there own active outdoor games in an innovative and exciting way.

Aluminium Chair .41
Study on materials in design. Increasing experience in researching a material, sampling a material, placing going trends of the material usage and working with the different materials, all came together during the redesign of the famous Alvar Aalto chair in aluminium.
